Sequin Trousers Lovestruck

 

My love affair with sequined trousers started unexpectedly in the fitting room of my local H&M store on the afternoon of New Year's Eve. At the last minute, we decided to host a party and I had nothing with a little bit of sparkle in my closet to wear on the night. So in an act of desperation I run to my nearest H&M and flicked through the rails in search of a sparkling piece. And then I saw them, the silver sequin skinny trousers, and I pictured myself wearing them with my Birkenstocks and my black mohair jumper. I didn't even tried them on so, fully trusting my shopper instinct, I bought them. And they worked perfectly! And were so easy and comfy to wear! And I could sit comfortably and dance the night away! And no one single sequin was missing by the end of the party! I was still mesmerised the morning after and could picture myself wearing them in the summer with a simple black or white tee and flat sandals... So they are here to stay and keep in my closet until the sunny days make their comeback. In the meantime, I have been looking for more sequin trousers options and I have found many  interesting and versatile styles...

Mi aventura amorosa con los pantalones de lentejuelas empezó inesperadamente en el probador del  H&M de mi barrio en la tarde de Noche Vieja. Fue a última hora cuando decidimos dar una fiesta, pero yo no tenía nada en mi armario que tuviera un poco de chispa para esa noche tan especial. En un acto de desesperación fui corriendo al H&M más cercano y busqué entre los raíles por un atuendo con chispa. Y entonces los vi, los pantalones pitillo de lentejuelas plateadas, y podía verme llevándolos con mis Birkenstocks y mi jersey negro de mohair. Ni siquiera me los probé y, confiando plenamente en mi instinto, los compré. ¡Y funcionaron a la perfección! ¡Y eran muy cómodos y fáciles de llevar! ¡Y me pude sentar cómodamente y bailar toda la noche! ¡Y ni una sola lentejuela se había desprendido al final de la fiesta! Todavía estaba bajo su hechizo la mañana siguiente, podía verme llevándolos en verano con una simple camiseta negra o blanca y sandalias planas... Con lo cual en mi armario se quedan hasta que los días de sol vuelvan. Mientras, he estado buscando más opciones de pantalones de lentejuelas y tengo que decir que he encontrado muchas y de estilos muy versátiles...
